Harristown Primary School has a proud tradition of 100 years of offering the best possible educational opportunities for our students. Our students are working hard towards the school values of Respect, Responsibility, Learning and Safety. Through the use of the PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) program we have noted some remarkable positive improvements across the school in regards to behaviour. Students are proud to be a Harristown Hero and this is being noted through our positive interactions in the community.
We uphold our school motto of 'Towards excellence together' as it emphasises our focus on students striving to achieve their very best on our school campus. We are very proud of the way that all sectors of our school work together to achieve maximum benefits for all students from Prep to Year 6.
The agenda for improvement in 2015 focusses on three integral parts of a successful school:
Higher Attendance / Higher Academic Results / Higher Positive Behaviour
We can happily report that the staff, students and school community are achieving great progress in all three areas this year. I invite you to visit the school and experience first-hand the many positive experiences we have to share.
